Author Guidelines

  1. Jurnal Pendidikan Sosiologi dan Humaniora is published biannually in April and October
  2. Manuscripts submitted must be in the fields of social theory, culture, education, sociological studies, sociological education, and socio-culture.
  3. The manuscript has never been published and or is being processed to be published in another journal. All articles will be peer-reviewed.
  4. Manuscripts are written in Indonesian or English
  5. The manuscript is typed using MS WORD with a white background and A4 paper size (210 mm x 297 mm)
  6. Manuscripts are submitted from the register panel
  7. The manuscripts are written as many as 3000-6000 words.
  8. The manuscript contains the following sections:

Title: The title should be short but clearly describe the content of the article. Author name and affiliation are written under the title and email address of the first author.

Abstract: an abstract written in Indonesian or English with a length of 150-200 words that describes the purpose, method, and results of the report. 

Keywords: maximum 5 words in English.

Introduction: The introduction contains the background, problems, literature study, and relevant research results.

Methods: This section describes the steps for implementing the research model used and what information is used to assess the validity of the research.

Results and Discussion: present and discuss the results of each study.

Conclusion: presents the results of the work by interpreting the findings at a higher level of abstraction than the Discussion and by relating these findings to the motivations stated in the Introduction

Reference: Quotations are presented using the APA 7th edition writing style, and a minimum of 20 citations are required in the manuscript.

Please consider using Mendeley or Zotero's citation management software with the following Jurnal Pendidikan Sosiologi dan Humaniora CSL file to ensure citations are well-managed. Consult the manual for using Mendeley. It contains reference sources with at least 80% published literature.

  1. The editorial board has the right to send the manuscript back to the author for revision according to the reviewer's suggestion or reject the manuscript.
