TRANSETOSOM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENETRASI TRANSDERMAL: REVIEW

Abstract


Transetosom merupakan sistem pembawa vesikel berbasis lipid yang telah terbukti mampu meningkatkan penetrasi dari zat aktif dalam aplikasi sistem penghantaran transdermal. Karakteristik berupa derajat deformabilitas yang tinggi dari transetosom dapat meningkatkan permeabilitas obat menembus lapisan kulit yang biasanya menjadi hambatan dalam penghantaran zat aktif. Review artikel ini bertujuan untuk memahami kemampuan transetosom untuk meningkatkan penetrasi zat aktif pada sistem penghantaran transdermal dengan membahas mekanisme kerja, formulasi, dan efektivitas transetosom dalam memperbaiki sistem penghantaran transdermal. Berdasarkan penelitian terkini, transetosom menunjukkan potensi yang sangat baik dalam meningkatkan bioavailabilitas obat dan efektivitas terapi berdasarkan sifat fleksibilitas dari vesikel yang memungkinkan penetrasi obat ke dalam lapisan kulit yang lebih dalam, sehingga dapat menjadi solusi yang menjanjikan untuk optimalisasi sistem penghantaran obat transdermal.
