KAJIAN ANGKUTAN SEDIMEN PADA SALURAN YANG DIPENGARUHI PASANG SURUT
Abstract
ABSTRAK
Parit Lintang merupakan saluran yang dipengaruhi oleh pasang surut air laut dan terletak di kawasan padat penduduk sehingga aktivitas penduduk di sepanjang aliran parit, khususnya Parit Lintang sangat mempengaruhi ekosistem di perairan parit. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya angkutan sedimen melayang (Suspended Load) yang dipengaruhi pasang surut dan mengkaji perbedaan antara angkutan sedimen melayang pada saat pasang dan surut di Parit Lintang Kecamatan Sungai Kakap Kabupaten Kubu Raya, Kalimantan Barat. Pada penelitian ini data yang digunakan adalah data primer berupa hasil pengukuran hidrometri (lebar, kedalaman dan kecepatan), data pasang surut, perhitungan debit aliran, sampel air dan perhitungan angkutan sedimen melayang. Analisa angkutan sedimen melayang menggunakan metode sesaat. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 3 titik, yaitu titik 1 (hilir), titik 2 (tengah) dan titik 3 (hulu). Penelitian dilakukan selama 24 jam pengamatan dengan interval waktu pengamatan per 2 jam. Berdasarkan hasil analisa angkutan sedimen melayang dengan metode sesaat pada kondisi pasang dan surut di lokasi Parit Lintang didapat debit angkutan sedimen melayang total pada titik 1 (hilir) sebesar 21925,935 Kg/hari, titik 2 (tengah) sebesar 12908,441 Kg/hari dan titik 3 (hulu) sebesar 16077,285 Kg/hari.

ABSTRACT
Parit Lintang is a channel that is influenced by tides and is located in a densely populated area so that population activities along the flow of the ditch, especially the Parit Lintang, greatly affect the ecosystem in the waters of the ditch. Therefore, this study aims to determine the amount of suspended sediment transport (suspended load) which is influenced by the tides and to examine the difference between floating sediment transport at high tide and low tide in Parit Lintang, Sungai Kakap District, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan. In this study the data used are primary data in the form of hydrometric measurements (width, depth and speed), tidal data, flow discharge calculations, water samples and floating sediment transport calculations. The analysis of floating sediment transport uses the instantaneous method. This research was conducted at 3 points, namely titik 1 (hilir), titik 2 (tengah) and titik 3 (hulu). The study was conducted for 24 hours of observation with an interval of 2 hours of observation. Based on the analysis of floating sediment transport using the instantaneous method at high and low tide conditions at the Parit Lintang location, the total floating sediment transport discharge at titik 1 (hilir) is 21925,935 Kg/day, titik 2 (tengah) is 12908,441 Kg/day and titik 3 (hulu) of 16077,285 Kg/day.
