REFLECTIVE PRACTICE UNTUK PUSTAKAWAN

Abstract


Penyelenggarakan layanan di masa pandemi menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi perpustakaan. Kemampuan untuk menyediakan layanan di masa pandemi tentu sangat beragam antara satu perpustakaan dengan perpustakaan lainnya, karena sumber daya manusia, sarana dan prasarana yang dimiliki juga beragam. Tantangan untuk menyediakan layanan di masa pandemi kiranya menjadi bahan pembelajaran untuk pengembangan layanan di masa mendatang bagi pustakawan perguruan tinggi pada umumnya. Salah satu metode yang bisa digunakan untuk mengeksplorasi gagasan pustakawan adalah melalui Reflective practice. Pendekatan ini dapat digunakan untuk mendorong pustakawan mengintegrasikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dimilikinya dengan situasi yang dihadapinya, dalam hal ini tantangan untuk menyediakan layanan di masa pandemi. Melalui refleksi, pustakawan dapat belajar untuk menghadapi perubahahan situasi yang terjadi. Hasil refleksi akan pengetahuan dan pengalamann menjadi bahan pembelajaran bagi untuk mengembangkan kompetensi dan juga kearifan profesional. Dengan refleksi, maka pustakawan bisa mengeksplorasi pengalaman dan pengetahuan yang dimiliki, sehingga ia bisa melakukan perenungan dan mencari makna atas pengalaman dan pengetahuannya tersebut untuk merencanakan, memikirkan jauh ke depan hal-hal yang ingin dicapai di masa mendatang dan cara mewujudkannya
