Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts are read by the editor. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's criteria, as determined by the editor, will be immediately rejected without external review. Submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by experts in the relevant field. The first reviewer's recommendation will be the Editor's main priority in making publishing decisions. The editor will send an email to prospective reviewers asking for their willingness to review the manuscript. If the prospective reviewer agrees, the editor will send the manuscript to the reviewer via the OJS website. The review process is conducted anonymously (blind review). The reviewer does not know the identity of the author, and the author does not know the identity of the reviewer.
The editor then makes a decision based on the reviewer's recommendations from several possibilities: rejected, needs major revisions, needs minor revisions, or accepted.

The Editor in Chief of Jurnal Edukasi Ekonomi (JEE) has the right to decide which manuscripts submitted to the journal should be published.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Responsibility of The Editor

1.     Publication Judgement

The editor is authorized to select and publish the article. He has the right to accept or reject the paper or can request for revision. The Editor-in-Chief is answerable for judgment based on reviewers. For revision or error or any other correction, a notetification will be sent to the author.

2.     Concealment

No one has the right to disclose the information of a manuscript is submitted to the journal for review. The editor can only share that details with the reviewers and the publisher, but not with other editor or author. The data of submitted paper will be private.

3.     Fair Play

The editor will evaluate the manuscript for their paper substance without regard to sexual orientation, religious conviction, citizenship and the rationality of authors.

4.     Disclosure and conflict of interest

With no agreement of the author, their unpublished material that is uncovered in the original copy couldn't be utilized by editors for their research material.

Responsibility of The Author

1.     Reporting standards

Data of quantitative statement should be represented precisely in the paper. 

2.     Data access and retention

During the review process, authors could be asked to submit the raw data of their related research and make it publically available. 

3.     Originality, plagiarism, and acknowledgment of sources

The author should ensure that the work have submitted is original and have no duplicity.

4.     Multiple, redundant or concurrent publication

Submitting the same research paper in other journals may constitute the unethical publication or is unacceptable. 

5.     Authorship of the paper

Authorship of paper should be limited to those who have submitted the same manuscript in more than one journal.

6.     Fundamental errors in published works

When authors come to know about their error in the published paper, it is their accountability to inform promptly to the publisher or request them to correct the inaccuracy or retract the paper. 

7.     Disclosure and conflicts of interest

Authors should include the statement in their manuscript that conversant assent was obtained for participants experiment process.

Responsibility of The Reviewer

1.     Contribution to editorial decisions

This step of peer reviewing is essential, where the editors are responsible for taking a decision and giving a comment to the authors to make required modification on their submitted manuscript.

2.     Promptness

Reviewers selected by Editor-in-Chief to review the submitted paper in the journal found themselves unqualified for that particular purpose inform promptly to the editor and decline the invitation.

3.     Confidentiality

The editor needs to ensure that the material submitted is confidential during the review session by reviewers. 

4.     Standards of objectivity

Reviews should define objectively. No personal criticism is allowed.  

5.     Acknowledgment of sources

Reviewers are responsible for notifying the editor if any similarity or overlap is found between two manuscripts. 

6.     Disclosure and conflict of interest

Information in the manuscript that is not published by the author could not be used by the reviewers for their research work.

Jurnal Edukasi Ekonomi (JEE) does not charge any publication fees.

If your article is accepted for publication, there will be no charges for the publication process.

In addition, we offer rewards for articles written by international authors as a form of appreciation for their contributions to our journal.

Peer Review Process

Articles published in Jurnal Edukasi Ekonomi comply with the following reviewing policies:

After approval by the editorial board, a submitted paper will be sent to at least two peer reviewers. Jurnal Edukasi Ekonomi employs a double-blind review process, ensuring that the referees remain anonymous throughout.

The submitted article must provide evidence to support its conclusions and present important and interesting results.
