Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

 

Publication Ethics

PUBLICATION ETHIC FOR CEREBELLUM JOURNAL

 

The Cerebellum Journal (JC) is a journal issued by the Faculty of Medicine, Tanjungpura University with a commitment to publish quality scientific papers reviewed by reviewers who have expertise in their respective fields and are competent in reviewing incoming papers. The stages of reviewing scientific papers go through several stages of blind review with minor reviews and major reviews and rejected papers. The paper that has resubmitted the revision and has completed the revision of the review will be published to the journal and the rejected paper will be reviewed. In one publication, the author may only submit one paper and the current paper is not included in any other journal.

 

Editor, reviewers and writers have the following obligation :

For Editors

  1. Editors should be responsible for every articles published in Cerebellum Journal according to a pretermined period, namely in February, May, August and November every year.
  2. The editorial boards is fully responsible for accepting and rejecting scientific papers and is responsible for journal quality and journal integrity.
  3. The editors may communicate with others editors or reviews in making the final decision.
  4. An editor has to evaluate the manuscript objectively for publication, judging each on its quality without looking to nationality, political beliefs, race, religion, gender, seniority, or institutional affiliation of the authors. He/she should decline his/her assignment when there is a potential of conflict of interest.
  5. The editor must publish page corrections or make correction if necessary.
  6. Editors should respect requests from authors that an individual should not review the submission, if these are well-reasoned and practicable.
  7. Editors and all staffs should guarantee the confidentiality of the submitted manuscript.
  8. Editor will not change decisions related to acceptance and rejection of scientific papers.

 

For Reviewers

  1. Reviewers need to comment on ethical questions and possible research and publication misconduct.
  2. Reviewers will do the work in timely manner and should notify editor if they cannot complete the work.
  3. Reviewers need to keep confidentiality of the manuscript.
  4. Reviewers should not accept to review the manuscript in which there is potential conflict of interest between them and any of the authors.
 

For Authors

  1. Auhors must declare that the scientific work to be published is original and has not been published in another journal or is being submitted to another publisher.
  2. All authors participate in the process of research and/or making scientific papers and agree to be published by attacking the copyright agreement form by the main author.
  3. Authors must use relevant references in writing scientific papers.
  4. Author(s) should ensure that they follow the authorship criteria that is explained in instruction for author of Cerebellum Journal (JC).
  5. Author grant all copyright and license ownership of the article to eJC to reproduce, distribute, sale, reuse, and quote part or all of the articles, including the compilation or independence publication, in any form of current of future media, including all electronic and digital media, under applicable law protection in the Republic of Indonesia and the foreign state.

 

Publishing ethics issues

Authors, reviewers, and editors should maintain the integrity of the academic record during the whole process of publication. Business needs should be precluded from compromising intellectual and ethical standards.

 

Human and animal ethics issues

Authors should ensure that studies involving human and animals are performed according to human and animal ethics and welfare. All experimental animals should be cared for and used in compliance with international, national or local regulations. The authors should state explicitly in a statement/letter including the name of ethics authority and the approval number, that experiments were approved by an authority concerning the compliance with human and animal ethics and welfare.
