Author Guidelines
Structure of manuscripts
A detailed guide to authors is given below. The manuscripts submitted should be in accordance with these guidelines, otherwise the manuscripts will be returned to author.
Manuscript preparation
Manuscripts should be typed doubled spaced on A4 paper (21x29.7 cm) and with lined numbered. A font size of 12 points (Time News Roman) for abstract and text body and a font size of 13 points (bolt) for title are preferred. The total number of words for: short communication (1500-2000 words), original article and article review (minimum 2200 words).
Title Page
The title page should contain a clear, concise and informative title of the article followed by the names and affiliations of the authors. The affiliation should comprise the department, institution, city, and state (or nation) and should be typed as a footnote to the author's name. The Corresponding Author must indicate his or her complete mailing address, office/cellular phone number, fax number, and email address at the lower left of the Title Page.
Abstract
Abstract should be concise, clear and include an objective description of the contents and the major significant findings of the article. The abstract should be in one paragraph and structured (aim/background, methods, results, conclusion). The abstract should not more than 200 words.
Key words
At the end of abstract list, in alphabetical order, up to five key words that best describe the research.
Introduction
Should reflect a brief background of the research and the purpose of its initiation. Extensive discussion of relevant literature should be included in the discussion of results, not in the introduction.
Materials and Methods
A clear description or specific original reference is required for all procedures including statistical procedures.
Results and Discussion
Results and Discussion should be presented under separate sections.
Conclusions
The conclusion should be in one paragraph and answer about the aim.
Acknowledgement(s)
If necessary.
Authors' Contributions
Contributions should be listed as a paragraph, clearly mention each author's contributions in the article.
References
References should be typed in the order in which they appear in the text, numbering in parentheses, numbered consecutively and typed after the text using numbers in square brackets. (example: the data is consistent with research on compound A [1] and compound B [1,2]. All are typed in 11-point Times New Roman, 1.15-spaced. Firstly, the family names of the author, secondly, the initials. The name of the journal is in italic. It is better to include a DOI at the end of the reference if any.

Tables
Should be organized similar to the text, so that the table can be read without turning the page sideways (if possible). Large tables should be avoided. They should be typed on separate pages and numbered sequentially according to the order of their respective appearance in the text. Each table should have a brief and self-explanatory title. Column headings should include the International Standard abbreviations(s) of their respective units of measurement included between parentheses. Footnotes should be indicated by superscript letters starting with (a) in each table and kept as short as possible.
Illustrations
Drawings and photographs should be numbered sequentially according to their respective order of citation in the text. Explanations should be given in the typewritten legend, which should contain sufficient details to permit figure interpretation without reference to the text. Colored and black and white photographs are accepted. All illustrations should be limited to an A4 size paper. In case of using MS Excel program for diagrams, the original MS Excel file should be sent also.
Graphs and figures should be prepared clearly according to instructions for authors and included in Main Article file.
Footnotes
Footnotes are permitted in the tables but not in the rest of the text.
Citations
Citations should be referenced in the text in one of two ways, depending on the sentence structure: 1) At the beginning of the sentence - Alhadrami et al. (2001); 2) At the end of the sentence - (Alhadrami et al., 2001). When a citation has one or two authors, cite the reference using the name(s) and the date. The name of the first author should be used followed by ‘et al’ when there are more than two authors in the citation. However, ‘et al’ should not be used in the list.
Proofs
One set of galley proofs will be sent to the corresponding author for typographical checking only. It should be returned within three days of receipt. Further changes will not be possible.
Conflict of interest
All the authors of must disclose the possible conflicts of interest / Competing Interests they may have with publication of the manuscript or an institution or product that is mentioned in the manuscript and/or is important to the outcome of the study presented. Authors should also disclose conflict of interest with products that compete with those mentioned in their manuscript. The Conflict of Interest statement should list each author separately by name.
Ethical Approvals (if applicable)
Patient Rights
Patients have a right to privacy thus; all the studies should be conducted with informed consent. No identifying information, should be published in written descriptions, photographs, and pedigrees unless the information is essential for scientific purposes and the patient (or parent or guardian) gives written informed consent for publication. When informed consent has been obtained, it should be indicated in the article. Investigations with human subjects must follow the ethical standards formulated in the Helsinki Declaration of 1964, revised in 2000. All the experiment should be approved by the institutional human experimentation committee or equivalent.
Animal Rights
Animal experiments must follow the ethical standards for the care and use of laboratory animals. Article involved the animal experiments must seek approval from the appropriate Ethical Committee in accordance with "Principles of Laboratory Animal Care" (NIH publication no. 85-23, revised 1985).
Article Procesing Charges (APCs) / Article Publication Fee
For publication of volume 6 number 2, July 2023 onwards, IJoPAC will charge a publication fee per article of 20 (USD) for foreign authors and 300,000 (IDR) for Indonesian authors. If you need a proofreader to improve your article's grammar, the IJoPAC proofreader team will assist with an additional fee of 200,000 (IDR). The publication fee is intended to open access to research results, the editing process, manuscript layout, and management of IJoPAC.
