The Implementation of Discussion Method in Special Features of Plants Learning at SDN 02 Delta Pawan
Abstract
The purpose of the study was to describe the planning, implementation, and improvement of student learning outcomes in learning science using the discussion method in VI grade at SDN 02 Delta Pawan. The form of this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) in three action cycles. Data collection techniques used direct observation and measurement techniques. The data collection tool used the observation sheet IPKG I and IPKG II as well as learning achievement tests. The data analysis technique used percentage and triangulation techniques. The results showed the ability of the teacher to design learning in the first cycle with an average score of 2.00 in the sufficient category, increased in the third cycle to 3.72 in the good category, increasing by 46.02%. The ability of teachers to carry out learning in the first cycle with an average score of 2.00 in the sufficient category increased to 3.92 in the third cycle in the good category, an increase of 48.98%. There was an increase in learning outcomes of 74.43% in learning the special fitures of plants with their environment with the discussion method in VI grade at SDN 02 Delta Pawan Ketapang.
