All the submitted manuscript is first reviewed by an editor. It will be evaluated by editor whether it is suitable for focus and scope of Equator: Journal of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences. All the manuscripts must be free from the content of plagiarism. The editor will use the plagiarism detection software (Plagiarism Checker) to check the similarity.Allowance in common is less than 25%.
The submitted manuscript will be reviewed by at least two reviewers (peer-reviewers). The reviewer will give the comment and submit the scientific value. The reviewer will improve the contents of the manuscript and each reviewer is given three (3) weeks to conduct the review. . If within the specified time the reviewer does not respond, the review process is replaced by another reviewer with the same qualifications.
Every submitted article is independently reviewed by at least two peer-reviewers (Double Blind Review). The decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their reports/recommendation. After being reviewed, there will be four kinds of editor decision based on the reviewers’ recommendation:
Accept Submission: The submission will be accepted without revisions.
Revisions Required: The submission will be accepted after minor changes have been made.
Resubmit for Review: The submission needs to be re-worked, but with significant changes, may be accepted. It will require a second round of review, however.
Decline Submissions: The submission will not be published in the journal.
The suggested decision will be evaluated in an editorial board meeting. Afterward, the editor will send the final decision to the corresponding author.
The articles sent back to the authors for revision should be returned to the editor without delay. The revised article returned no more than 14 days. The revised article can be sent to editorial through the Online Submission Interface. (Link of Assessment Form)
