Inventarisasi Gulma pada Lahan Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.) Di PTP Nusantara IV Dolok Sinumbah Kabupaten Simalungun, Sumatra Utara

Abstract


Palm oil (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) is a tropical plant that produces palm oil which, due to its high economic value, is an excellent commodity. Weed plants are one of the problems affecting the profitability of oil palm plants, while weed plants can hurt oil palm plants causing increased weed competition with oil palm. This research aimed to research and study Weeds at PTPN IV Dolok Sinumbah in TBM (immature plantations) and TM (mature plants). The approach that this study uses is to inventory weeds in TBM and TM properties. The findings were as many as 12 species and 12 weed plants in the family. Though Ageratum conzoides L is the dominant weed found in TBM through TM Axonopus compressus (Sw.) P. Beauv.
