Focus and Scope
Akuatik Tropis: Journal of Tropical Aquatic Resource Management is an open-access academic journal, this journal is publishing high-quality articles in aquatic sciences and fisheries in general. The aim of the journal is to publish and disseminate the current or new findings of the research, and give a significant contribution to the development of fisheries and aquatic sciences in several topics, but not limited to:
- Fisheries (Aquaculture, Capture Fisheries, Social Economy Fisheries)
- Ecology (Freshwater, Marine, and Brackishwater)
- Biology (Fish, Mollusk, Crustacean, Plankton, Mammals, Coral reefs)

Peer Review Process
Akuatik Tropis: Journal of Tropical Aquatic Resource Management is adopted the double-blind review process, where every submitted manuscript will be internally reviewed by the editor prior to sending to independent (external) reviewers. The authors are welcome to suggest at least three potential reviewers along with the name, affiliation, expert field and email address. However, the decision to determine the appropriate reviewers is right of the editor. The approved gallery proof of manuscript will early view online as early as possible upon received from author and final proofreading by editor in chief.

Akuatik Tropis is published periodically twice a year in March and September
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
Plagiarism
uthors should submit only original work that is not plagiarized and not has been published or being considered elsewhere. Turnitin or other software will be used by the editorial team to check for similarities between a submitted manuscript with existing literature.
All work in the manuscript should be free of any plagiarism, falsification, fabrications, or omission of significant material. Jurnal Pustaka Ilmiah Editorial Board will ensure that every published article will not exceed the 30% similarity Score. Plagiarism screening will be conducted by Jurnal Pustaka Ilmiah Editorial Board using Turnitin
Publication Ethic
The journal publishes articles in the areas of Aquatic Science and Fisheries Science. Department of Aquatic Resources Management is the publisher of Akuatik Tropis Journal that applies a publishing process with ethical standards for all parties involved in the process of publishing articles in the Akuatik Tropis Journal. The ethics of this publication are adopted from COPE's Core Practices and Elsevier Publishing Ethics.
Retraction
The papers published in Akuatik Tropis: Journal of Aquatic Resource Management will be considered to retract in the publication if:
- They have clear evidence that the findings are unreliable, either as a result of major error (eg, miscalculation or experimental error), or as a result of fabrication (eg, of data) or falsification (eg, image manipulation)
- It constitutes plagiarism
- The findings have previously been published elsewhere without proper attribution to previous sources or disclosure to the editor, permission to republish, or justification (ie, cases of redundant publication)
- It contains material or data without authorisation for use
- Copyright has been infringed or there is some other serious legal issue (eg, libel, privacy)
- It reports unethical research
- It has been published solely on the basis of a compromised or manipulated peer review process
- The author(s) failed to disclose a major competing interest (a.k.a. conflict of interest) that, in the view of the editor, would have unduly affected interpretations of the work or recommendations by editors and peer reviewers.
