Focus and Scope

The main focus of the Academic Journal of Educational Ethics, abbreviated as AJEE, is educational ethics. The studies published in this journal cover historical issues and the development of educational policies, with particular attention to the implications (actual and potential) of educational policies, implementation, and practices in various contexts and scopes. This journal also pays attention to the analysis and articulation of the ethical obligations of educators, including (but not limited to) codes of ethics and ethics in teaching. Studies related to ethical behaviour, ways and moral life of schools/campuses, investigations of models and theories of ethical beliefs and decision-making related to higher education, schools and child care are an integral part of this journal. Likewise, pedagogical dimensions, interventions or curricula for teaching and learning professional ethics with beginning and in-service teachers have a special place in this journal.
