PERANCANGAN TEXT TO SPEECH CONVERTER ENGINE DALAM PENGUCAPAN KATA BERBAHASA ARAB SEHARI-HARI

Abstract


The discussion about language as the
communication device is can not be rid of the
information and communication technology
development nowadays that grow so fast. One of
them is the development in text to speech synthesis
technology from natural language processing
branch of science. From all of the language in the
world, there is one of the language that be used
commonly wide as the first language from various
country, that is Arabian Language. In other side,
the research development of text to speech in
Arabian Language still get lack of attention
although Arabian Language is become one of the
language with commonly user worldwide, in
particular this development in education sector.
This thing become a base in development of text to
speech application for Arabian Language that can
be used for learning pronounce the word in daily
Arabian Language based on website. This research
focused on the development a simple algorithm in
Arabian Language text to speech process by
combine the word or sentence that will be
pronounced. According to the testing result with 40
word samples get the success percentage is about
95%, with the condition that are hijaiyah character
has the harakat, there is no symbol,number, and
reading sign in input text, and the input text that
contain reading rule or tajwid can not be processed
to pronounce with tajwid.
