POSITRON Berkala Ilmiah Fisika welcomes original scientific articles on all branches of physics and its applications. The scope of the journal coverers  the following topics:

  • Conceptual studies
  • Theoretical and experimental studies

Peer Review Process

Articles published in POSITRON complies the following reviewing policies:

  • After approved by the editorial board, a submitted paper will be sent to at least two peer-reviewers. POSITRON employs double blind reviewing, where the referees remain anonymous throughout the process.
  • The submitted article must provide evidence for its conclusions and has important and interesting results.


Publication Frequency

Positron is published twice, on 31 Mei and 30 November, each year.


Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.



This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...



POSITRON Berkala Ilmiah Fisika publishes articles in physics, including conceptual studies, theoretical and experimental studies, the use of computational methods, instrumentation, and multidisciplinary studies involving physics. This journal is published by Physics Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Tanjungpura. All papers in this journal are indexed in Directory of Open Access Journal (DOAJ), Bielefeld Academic Search Engine (BASE), Google Scholar, Science and Technology Index (Sinta), Garda Rujukan Digital (GARUDA), and Indonesia OneSearch (IOS).

Jurnal POSITRON is accreditated SINTA 2 by RISTEKDIKTI from Volume 8 (2018) onward to 5 years ahead.
