Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to know the influence of the application of the approach to the process skills to the learning outcomes of the students on the fifth grade of SDN 35 South Pontianak. The method used is experimental method. The form of experimental research is quasi experiment design with nonequivalent control group design. Based on the statistical calculation, the average of the results of the post-test control class is 71,66 and the average of the post-test experiment class is 78,97, obtained ttest of 2,94 and ttable ( = 5% and dk = 72)  of 1,996, which means ttest (2,94) > ttable (1,996). The calculation of effect size (ES) is obtained effect size = 0.7 (medium criteria). It means learning by applying the process skills approach is inluenced to the learning outcomes for mathematics on the fifth grade of SDN 35 South Pontianak.
