PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MODEL QUANTUM TEACHING TERHADAP PEROLEHAN BELAJAR ILMU PENGETAHUAN SOSIAL DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract


Abstrak: Penelitian ini bermaksud mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan model Quantum Teaching terhadap perolehan belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 22 Sungai Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah ekperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan  adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel diambil secara acak yaitu kelas V A yang berjumlah 30 orang dan kelas V B yang berjumlah 29 orang. Teknik pengumpul data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik pengukuran dan observasi langsung. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan berupa tes soal pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 25 soal. Rata-rata perolehan belajar Ilmu Pengetahun Sosial di kelas kontrol lebih rendah daripada rata-rata perolehan belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial di kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan Quantum Teaching. Pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan thitung lebih besar dari ttabel maka Ha dinyatakan diterima. Hasil perhitungan effect size data perolehan belajar peserta didik kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol diperoleh sebesar diklasifikasikan dalam kategori sedang, maka penggunaan model Quantum Teaching memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan bermakna dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial.

Abstract: This research aimed to describe the effect of the use of Quantum Teaching model toward acquisition score of social science subject. It is conducted at class V of elementary school 22 Sungai Raya. The method that used in this research was Quasi Experimental with Nonequivalent control group design. The sample was taken by random sampling. The sample was the students of class VA consists of 30 students and class VB consists of 29 students. The techniques of data collecting were measurement technique and direct observation, and the tool of data collecting was multiple choice tests that consists of 25 questions. These data were compared and analyzed to get a conclusion as the result of this research. The students mean score of social science subject in control class lower than experimental class. The result of hypothesis testing showed that ttest larger than ttable so Ha was accepted. The calculation of effect size from experimental class and control class was 0,58 categorized into moderate. It means that the use of Quantum Teaching model gave positive effect and meaningful in social science subject.
