PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF JIGSAW UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMAHAMI UNSUR INTRINSIK NOVEL REMAJA SISWA KELAS VIII
Abstract
The title of the research is cooperative learning of jigsaw to enhance understanding capabilities of teen novel intrinsic elements in VIII class. This study aims to improve the ability to enhance understanding capabilities of teen novel intrinsic element.The method that has to be use is descriptive method, this research is a class action research that includes 3 cycles. Consist of four stages is planning, implementation, observation, reflection. Data were analyzed qualitatively,with data sources of the teacher and the students in the learning process. Based on data analysis, can conclude that learning to understand the intrinsic elements of teen novels increased every cycle. The first cycle the students average value obtained 76.7, the second cycle students scores increased to 73.6, and the third cycle increased to 79.1 from grade students that consist of 40 students.

Abstrak: Judul penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran kooperatif jigsaw untuk meningkatkan kemampuan memahami unsur intrinsik novel remaja siswa kelas VIII. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami unsur intrinsik novel remaja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang meliputi 3 siklus, terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, Pengamatan, Refleksi. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif, dengan sumber data guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan analisis data, dapat disimpulkan pembelajaran memahami unsur intrinsik novel remaja meningkat setiap siklusnya. Siklus I nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh 67.7. Siklus II nilai siswa meningkat menjadi 73,6 dan Siklus III meningkat lagi menjadi 79.1 dari jumlah siswa yaitu 40 siswa.
