PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS MURID DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA MENGGUNAKAN METODE INQUIRY DI KELAS IV SD
Abstract
Abstrak: Masalah pada penelitian ini adalah usaha untuk meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam melalui metode inquiry pada pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam murid kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 23 Sungai Pinyuh Pontianak. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, bentuk penelitian yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), dan sifat penelitian bersifat kolaboratif, subyek penelitian yaitu guru dan murid kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 23 Sungai Pinyuh Pontianak yang berjumlah 28 orang. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi langsung, teknik dokumenter, dan alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan observasi melalui metode inquiry dapat meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang menyatakan penerapan metode inquiry pada pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 23 Sungai Pinyuh dapat meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran murid, diterima.

Abstract: The problem in this research is an attempt to improve the learners' learning activities by using inquiry method in science subjects at the fourth grade students in the Elementary School 23 Sungai Pinyuh Pontianak. This research method is descriptive, in classroom action research, and the nature of this research is qualitative research, the research subjects are teacher and learners elementary school fourth grade students in the Elementary School 23 Sungai Pinyuh Pontianak which consisted of 28 people in whole. The techniques used in this research were the technique of direct observation, documentary technique, and data collection tool were used as observation guidelines. The result based on observation by using inquiry method had improved learners learning activities. This shows that the hypothesis that stated the application of inquiry method in science lessons at the fourth grade in the Elementary School 23 Sungai Pinyuh Pontianak can improve learners' learning activities, accepted.
