PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA MELALUI MEDIACERITA KELAS VI SEKOLAH DASAR
Abstract
Abstrak: Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca lanjut dengan menggunakan media cerita pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas VI Sekolah Dasar Swasta Paroki Katedral Sanggau. Data hasil observasi dideskripsikan, diinterprestasikan, kemudian direfleksikan untuk menentukan tindakan perbaikan pada siklus berikutnya. Sementara itu data hasil tes keterampilan membaca dianalisis dengan cara mendeskripsikan nilai tes antar siklus hingga hasilnya dapat mencapai batas tuntas sesuai dengan indicator kinerjanya, yaitu minimal 75% peserta didik dapat mengikuti pembelajaran dengan baik dan memperoleh nilai di atas 65 atau lebih sebagai batas ketuntasan KKM keterampilan membaca.Penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus diperoleh rerata tes kemampuan membaca lanjut, pada siklus I nilai 54,67 tingkat ketuntasan klasikal 53%. Pada siklus II nilai rerata 78,67, tingkat ketuntasan klasikal 100%. Berdasarkan tindakan yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media cerita pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, guru dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca lanjut pada siswa kelas VI Sekolah Dasar Swasta Paroki Katedral Sanggau Semester I tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014.

Abstrack: This thesis is purposed to increase students reading skill by using story as the media in Bahasa Indonesia lesson for grade VI students of Sekolah Dasar Swasta Paroki Katedral Sanggau. The data of the observation result will be described, interpreted, and reflected to determine the improvement in the next phase. Beside that, the result data of the reading skill test is analyzed by describing the test score inter phase. So, the result will achieve the exhaustiveness limit that appropriate to the ability indicator, that is minimal 75% of the student experience the lesson well and get more than 65 in scoring or just as the limit of the minimal exhaustiveness (KKM) in reading skill. From the action research that had been done in 2 phases had been elicited the test average score of reading skill. The score is 54, 67 in the first phase and 53% for the classical exhaustiveness level. In the second phase, the average score is 78, 67 and the classical exhaustiveness level is 100%.Based on the action that had been done, it can be concluded that the use of story as the media in teaching Bahasa Indonesia can help the teacher to increase the reading skill for the students of grade VI of Sekolah Dasar Swasta Paroki Katedral Sanggau in semester 1 year 2013/2014.
