KELANCARAN PROSEDUR MATEMATIS SISWA DALAM MATERI OPERASI HITUNG PECAHAN DI SMP
Abstract
Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan kelancaran prosedur matematis siswa yang dikaji berdasarkan tiga aspek yaitu efisiensi, fleksibelitas, dan keakuratan dalam materi operasi hitung pecahan pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya, Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Metode yang di- gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian survei. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan yaitu tes tertulis, yang di- perkuat dengan wawancara dari beberapa siswa. Ada 33 siswa kelas VII H SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya yang berpartisipasi di dalam penelitian ini. Di antara mereka diwawancarai sebanyak 6 siswa untuk mendalami data yang diperoleh dari tes tertulis mengenai kelancaran prosedur matematis. Diperoleh hasil bahwa kelancaran prosedur matematis siswa dalam operasi penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan yang termasuk ke dalam kategori: (1) lancar, tidak ada; (2) cukup lancar 31 siswa; (3) kurang lancar 2 siswa.
Kata Kunci: kelancaran prosedur matematis.
Abstrack: The purpose of this study is to explain the procedural fluency of student mathematical assessed by in three aspects: efficiency, flexibility, and accuracy in the operation matter of arithmetic fraction in grade VII State High School 1 Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya district. The method used in this study was a descriptive survey. The data collection tool used was written test, which was reinforced with interviews from some of the students. There are 33 students of class VII H, State High School Sungai Raya who participated in this study. Among those interviewed, there were six students to explore the data obtained from the written test about the procedural fluency of mathematical. The result indicate that the procedural fluency of students mathematical in the operation of the addition and subtraction of fraction is categorized into: (1) smooth: no one, (2) fairly smooth: 31 students, and (3) substandard: 2 students.
