PENERAPAN METODE INQUIRY UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN IPA DI KELAS III SD
Abstract
Abstrak: Masalah pada penelitian ini adalah usaha untuk meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam dengan menggunakan metode inquiry kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri 02 Sungai Duri Bengkayang. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, bentuk penelitian yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), dan sifat penelitian bersifat kolaboratif, subjek penelitian yaitu guru dan peserta didik kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri 02 Sungai Duri Bengkayang yang berjumlah 10 peserta didik. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi langsung, teknik dokumenter, dan alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan observasi melalui penerapan metode inquiry dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang menyatakan penerapan metode inquiry pada pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam di kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri 02 Sungai Duri Bengkayang dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik, diterima.

Abstract: The problem in this research is an attempt to improve the learners' learning activities by using inquiry method in Natural Science subjects at the three grade students in the Elementary School 02 Sungai Duri Bengkayang. This research method is descriptive, in classroom action research, and the nature of this research is qualitative research, the research subjects are teacher and learners elementary school three grade students in the Elementary School 02 Sungai Duri Bengkayang which consisted of 10 people in whole. The techniques used in this research were the technique of direct observation, documentary technique, and data collection tool were used as observation guidelines. The result based on observation by using inquiry method had improved learners learning activities. This shows that the hypothesis that stated the application of inquiry method in Natural Science subjects at the three grade in the Elementary School 02 Sungai Duri Bengkayang can improve learners' learning activities, accepted.
