PENGARUH PENDEKATAN PROSES TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN MENULIS LAPORAN DI SD

The problem in this study was how the influence of the use of a process approach on the report writing skills in thematic learning of the three grade students on public elementary school 34 city Pontianak.This study aimed to determine the effect of the use of process approach on students report writing skills. This study used an exsperimental method with a pre-exsperimental design of nonequivalent control group design. The population was all students from five classes totaling 180 people, while the sample was class 3 C and class 3 D which amounts to 56 people. Data collection techniques were measurement techniques, with data collection tools were written essays. Based on data analysis, the result of the average post-test experimental class= 80,28 and average post-test result of the control class= 75,06. This showed an increase in students in learning to write report using process approach . After ttest was obtained tcount 2,37 for dk 56 and α= 5% obtained ttable 2,004, which means tcount > ttable, then Ha is accepted, which means there is a significant influence on the use of From process approach the calculation of the effect size (ES), obtained (ES) of 0,6 with medium criteria. Means the use of process approach has a medium influence on report writing skills.
