PENGARUH LATIHAN PLYOMETRIK TERHADAP KECEPATAN TENDANGAN T PENCAK SILAT

The monotonous exercise model produces many athletes who are not focused on training. Then the results to increase kickspeed will be hampered. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of plyometric training on the speed of pencak silat T kicks, and how much improvement the training provided. This study uses experimental methods in the form of one-group pre-test and post-test design. In this study, the number of samples taken from the total population with a total of 15 people in pesilat Kancil Utara. The data collection of this study used a technique with a type of T kick speed test. Data analysis with the t-test analysis system. Proven through data calculations, it shows an increase in pencak silat T kick speed by 8.80%. If seen from the average pre-test of 21.93 and the post-test value of 23.86%. Based on these results, it is stated that there is an effect of plyometric training where the form of squat split jump and stride jump crossover exercises is at the speed of Pencak Silat T kicks. Based on the categorization of the final test results the speed of the pencak silat T kicks conducted by pesilat is categorized "Good".
