PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KUANTUM (QUANTUM TEACHING) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X SMA
Abstract
Abstract
This study aimed to determine the effect of quantum teaching model on the learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak. The research method used was a True Experimental Design. The experimental design used was two group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study was class X IPA 5 as the control class and class X MIPA 7 as the experimental class. This sampling was chosen by using a non probability technique which was purposive sampling. The test used consisted of 10 questions in the form of essay. Based on the results of data analysis, it showed that the average posttest result of the experimental class students was higher than the average posttest result of the control class, respectively 74.2 and 53. From the results of the U Mann Whitney test (attached) it could be seen that there were differences in the learning outcomes between students in the control class and those in the experimental class. This meant that learning with quantum teaching could improve students’ learning outcomes. The effect of quantum teaching learning model on learning outcomes was 0.37 and was classified as moderate.
