REMEDIASI KESULITAN SISWA MELALUI WAWANCARA KLINIS BERBANTUAN LKS MATERI PEMFAKTORAN BENTUK ALJABAR DI MTS
Abstract
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap kesulitan siswa dan untuk mengetahui apakah melalui remediasi melalui wawancara klinis berbantuan LKS dapat mengatasi kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal pemfaktoran bentuk aljabar. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif, bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 3 orang siswa kelas VIII E MTs Negeri 2 Pontianak yang mengalami kesulitan pada pemfaktoran bentuk aljabar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ketiga orang subjek penelitian mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal pemfaktoran bentuk aljabar, meliputi: kesulitan menerapkan konsep distributif ke dalam pemfaktoran, kesulitan menerapkan konsep komutatif ke dalam pemfaktoran, dan kesulitan menyatakan sebuah bilangan sebagai bentuk pengurangan atau bentuk penjumlahan bilangan. Dari hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa remediasi menggunakan wawancara klinis berbantuan LKS belum dapat mengatasi kesulitan siswa secara maksimal namun kesulitan tersebut dapat diminimalisir dilihat dari tes awal dan tes akhir siswa menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan siswa berkurang setelah diberikan remediasi meskipun siswa masih melakukan kesalahan yang sama pada tes akhir.

Abstract: This study aims is to reveal students' difficulties and to determine whether remediation through clinical interviews aided student worksheets (LKS) can be overcome students difficulties in solving factoring of algebra expressions. The method which is used in this research is a qualitative method, with the form of case study research. Research subjects to talled 3 eighth graders E of MTs Negeri 2 Pontianak who have difficulty in factoring algebra expressions. The results showed all three subjects have difficulty in solving factoring algebra expressions, include: difficulty applying the concept of factoring into the distributive, commutative difficulty applying the concept to the factoring, and the difficulty of stating a number as a sum of the form of reduction or form number. From the analysis of the data showed that the clinical interview-assisted remediation using worksheets yet students can overcome adversity to the fullest, but the difficulties can be minimized, it has been seen from pre-test and post-test students showed that the error decreases after given remediation, although students are still making the same mistakes on the final test .
