PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MASALAH TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PPKn KELAS VII SMP SANTA TARSISIA BENGKAYANG
Abstract
Abstract
This study relates to the application of a problem based learning model to student learning outcomes in PPKn learning. The aim is to find out how much influence problem based learning has on student learning outcomes. It is expected that after this research can be able to direct the activeness of students and improve students' thinking patterns through exchanging information experiences so that student learning outcomes are successful. This research model uses a quasi-experimental or quasi experimental design approach. In the experimental class is VIIC and the control class VIIA. The populations in this study were all seventh grade students of Santa Tarsisia Bengkayang Junior High School 2017/2018 school year. Data collection techniques are in the form of posttest and non-test tests in the form of observation and interviews. The data analysis technique used is the t test through the prerequisite analysis of the normality test and homogeneity test. The results showed that the problem based learning model had an effect on student learning outcomes in class VII PPKn learning at Bengkayang Santa Tarsisia Middle School. This is shown by the results of the t-test with the level Sig. (2-tailed) 0.003 <0.005 indicates that the problem based learning model has a significant influence on student learning outcomes. This value is strengthened by the average posttest learning outcomes of the experimental class (70.18) higher than the control class (54.66) so that the experimental class is better than the control class.
