This study aims to describe the ritual function of Ngayau Dance in Nyobeng Dayak Bidayuh Sebujit Village in Regency of Bengkayang. The method used is descriptive method, with qualitative research form, using anthropology approach. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. This research was conducted by observing the background of Nyobeng ceremony, the function of dance ritual, and supporting aspects in Ngayau Dance performance such as the place and time of the show, performers and dance, property, motion form, accompaniment music, and offerings. The result of observation of Ngayau Dance function in Nyobeng ceremony that is as a ritual to welcome guests and lead to Baluk House (Traditional House of Dayak Bidayuh Tribe), the intended guest is the first pengayau who come home from the kayau battle field, now the guests are like high officials or considered as important person. The conclusion of this research is Ngayau Dance used by Bidayuh tribe community of Sebujit Village in Bengkayang Regency at the beginning procession that is Nabuai ritual (welcoming) in Nyobeng ceremony.
