STRATEGI IMPLEMENTASI PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK DI SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI KOTA SINTANG

Abstract


 

Abstract: The problem in this research is how the planning, implementation and obstacles in implementing the scientific approach through thematic learning which aims to make learners more interested in finding and build their own meaningful and fun knowledge through the implementation of scientific approach in SD Negeri 03 Sintang and SD Negeri 23 Sintang . This research was conducted at SD Negeri 03 Sintang and SD Negeri 23 Sintang. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this research are classroom teacher and fourth grade students at SD Negeri 03 Sintang and SD Negeri 23 Sintang. Technique Data collection used is observation, interview, and documentation. Data collection tools are interview sheets, observation sheets, and documentation. Data analysis uses the steps: data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Technique examination of data validity by using triangulation. The results showed that the fourth grade teacher had applied thematic teaching with a scientific approach. Scientific approaches implemented include; (1) observe, (2) questions, (3) try, (4) reason, and (5) communicate. With a scientific approach in thematic learning. learners become more active in learning, especially being confident and daring to ask, reasoning and expressing their ideas or opinions, thus gaining their knowledge based on direct experience. The obstacles encountered in this lesson are the lack of support for school facilities, facilities and infrastructure, and teacher capacity and capacity of learners that have not been achieved in learning.
