PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE SURVEY, QUESTION, READ, RECITE, REVIEW DI SMA

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan membaca pemahaman menggunakan metode survey, question, read, recite, review pada siswa kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Semparuk Kabupaten Sambas tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan prosedur penelitian tindakan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan pembelajaran yang dirancang oleh guru sudah tepat dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan guru sudah tepat dan maksimal. Aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yang sangat tinggi. Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklus. Nilai rata-rata pada siklus I yaitu 67, 12% dan siklus II yaitu 78, 28%, mengalami peningkatan sebesar 11, 16%. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran membaca pemahaman menggunakan metode survey, question, read, recite, review pada siswa kelas IX IPS 1 sangat efektif.

Abstract:. This research is purposed to describe the improvement reading comprehension skill by using survey, question, read, recite, review method to students of XI SC 1 SMA Negeri 1 Semparuk Sambas regency in academic year of 2012/2013. Research method which is used is descriptive with Classroom action research procedure. The result of the research shows that lesson planning which is conceived by the teacher is appropriate and lesson planning which is conducted by the teacher is appropriate as well as maximal. Activities and learning result are increasing very significantly. Learning result is increasing in every cycle. The average score of cycle 1 is 67, 12% and cycle II 78,28%, it is increasing for 11,16%. Thus, reading comprehension learning by using survey, question, read, recite, review method to students of XI SC 1 is very effective.
