PENERAPAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN LIVEWIRE SIMULATIONS PADA RANGKAIAN LISTRIK ARUS SEARAH DI SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 2 PONTIANAK
Abstract
Abstract
This research aims to apply livewire simulations at Muhammadiyah Senior High School 2 Pontianak on a direct current electric circuit. The research was a true experimental design using a posttest only control design. It involved 41 students in class XA (control group) and other 41 students in class XB (experimental group). They were selected randomly. Data analysis showed that the average learning outcomes of students at experimental and control group were 43.41 (fair) and 23.41 (low) respectively. It meant that the average of students at the experimental group was higher than those at the control group. Result of U Mann-Whitney test revealed that p-value (0.000) < α (0.05), so was accepted. In other words, there is a difference of learning outcomes between student who utilise livewire simulations experimental group than those who use a conventional style of learning control group. The applications of livewire simulations as learning media at Muhammadiyah Senior High School 2 Pontianak is expected to be applied for further teaching and learning process.
