PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA SISWA MENGGUNAKAN PENDEKATAN PEMBELAJARAN KONTEKSTUAL BERBANTUAN MEDIA GAMBAR DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to improve students' speaking skills using contextual learning approach aided image media in class V State Elementary School 12 South Pontianak. The method used is descriptive method. With this form of classroom action research. Subjects were teachers and 24 students of class V State Elementary School 12 South Pontianak. Data collection techniques used were observation and scrutiny documents. This research was conducted as the second cycle. Results 1) The ability of the teacher in designing lessons learned from the first cycle of the first meeting, the second meeting of the first cycle, the second cycle the first meeting, and the second cycle II meeting obtained an average score of 3.03, 3.22, 3.53, and 3, 63. 2). The ability of teachers in implementing the learning of the first cycle of the first meeting, the second meeting of the first cycle, the second cycle the first meeting, and the second cycle II meeting obtained an average value of 3.48, 3.62, 3.83, and 3.86. I cycle students' speaking skills gained an average value of 75.35% and 89.58% second cycle there was an increase from the first cycle to the second cycle of 14.23%.
