PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA GAMBAR TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENULIS KARANGAN NARASI SISWA KELAS V
Abstract
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh media gambar terhadap kemampuan menulis karangan narasi siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 21 Pontianak Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen semu dengan jenis nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V A (kelas kontrol) berjumlah 27 orang dan kelas V B (kelas eksperimen) yang berjumlah 28 orang. Alat pengumpul data berupa tes yang berbentuk karangan. Berdasarkan analisis data yang diperoleh dari hasil rata-rata post-test kelas kontrol 55,98 dan rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen 60,21 diperoleh thitung sebesar 1,80 pada tahap signifikansi α = 5% diperoleh ttabel 1,67 yang berarti thitung > ttabel (1,80 > 1,67) berarti Ha diterima. Dari perhitungan effect size (ES) diperoleh ES sebesar 0,34 (kriteria sedang). Hal ini berarti penggunaan media gambar memberikan pengaruh yang sedang terhadap kemampuan menulis karangan narasi siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 21 Pontianak Utara.

Abstract : This study aimed to describe the influence of media images on the ability to write narrative essays fifth grade students of State Elementary School 21 North Pontianak. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with types of nonequivalent control group. The sample was graders VA (control group) amounted to 27 people and a class VB (experimental class) totaling 28 people. Data collection tool that is shaped in the form of essay test. Based on analysis of data obtained from the average post-test control class 55.98 and the average post-test experimental group obtained t 60.21 by 1.80 at the stage of significance α = 5% was obtained 1.67 ttabel meaning t count> t table (1.80> 1.67) means Ha accepted. From the calculation of effect size (ES) is obtained ES of 0.34 (moderate criteria). This means the use of media images influence who is on the ability to write narrative essays fifth grade students of State Elementary School 21 North Pontianak.
