REMEDIASI MISKONSEPSI SISWA PADA MATERI HUKUM NEWTON MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MAKE A MATCH DI SMP
Abstract
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh remediasi menggunakan model pembelajaran make a match dalam mengatasi miskonsepsi siswa tentang hukum Newton di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Anjongan. Bentuk penelitian berupa Pre-experimental Design dengan rancangan One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Penelitian ini melibatkan 25 siswa sebagai sampel penelitian yang dipilih menggunakan teknik intact group. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan berupa tes diagnostik berbentuk pilihan ganda dengan reasoning terbuka. Hasil tes diagnostik menunjukkan persentase jumlah siswa yang miskonsepsinya teremediasi sebesar 43,75% dan miskonsepsi tak teremediasi sebesar 56,8%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh rata-rata persentase penurunan miskonsepsi tiap konsep sebesar 27,35% dan rata-rata persentase penurunan miskonsepsi tiap siswa sebesar 28,16%. Perhitungan effect size menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran make a match efektif dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi pada materi hukum Newton dengan tingkat efektivitas 1,89 (tergolong tinggi). Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif dalam upaya meremediasi miskonsepsi yang dialami oleh siswa.

Abstract: This research aimed to knowing the effect of remediation using make a match learning model to solving students misconceptions about Newton's laws in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Anjongan. It uses Pre-Experimental Design, which formed as One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research involved 25 students as research sample were selected by using the intact group technique. Data collection tool used multiple choice diagnostic tests with open reasoning. Diagnostic test results showed the percentage of students who successfully remediated around 43,75% and students who do not successfully remediated around 56.8%. Based on the analysis, obtained the average of percentage reduction in misconceptions for each concept by 27.35% and the average of percentage reduction in misconceptions for each student by 28.16%. Effect size calculation showed that make a match learning model effectively in remediate misconceptions on Newton's law with the level of effectiveness about 1.89 (relatively high). The result is expected to be an alternative in efforts to remediate misconceptions who get by the students.
